Aircraft on Ground (AOG) is the term used when an aircraft cannot fly until a part is replaced or repaired. AOG logistics is the urgent job of getting that part, or the tools and engineers to fit it, to the aircraft as quickly as possible.

Yes. We return removed units to the repair shop or maintenance provider, usually by standard air freight unless the repair is urgent. They still need the right paperwork and, where relevant, a dangerous goods declaration.
At many airports, yes, where access can be arranged with the handling agent or operator. Otherwise parts are delivered to the operator’s stores or the cargo terminal for collection.
Yes. Spare engines on their stands go by road, as main deck air cargo or on a charter, depending on size and urgency. We need the stand dimensions and weight, and whether the engine has been drained of fuel for shipping.
