What is Pallet Delivery?
Pallet delivery is the most common way for businesses to send goods that are too big or heavy for a parcel service but do not need a whole lorry. Goods are stacked and wrapped on a pallet, collected, and moved through a network of depots to the delivery address.
In the UK, most pallets travel on pallet networks. Your pallet is collected in the afternoon, taken to a local depot, trunked overnight to a central hub, sorted, and delivered by a depot near the destination, usually the next working day.
For Europe and beyond, pallets travel on groupage services or as part of larger shipments, with customs paperwork handled for each border.
